4. Time Management
You are finding ways to make time to accomplish your goals daily. This may mean waking up at 6 am every morning to complete specific tasks on your to-do lists early. Additionally, set priorities for the most important thing. A good rule of thumb is always to organize your time by dividing your time between different activities.
5. Warnings To Unhealthy Lifestyle
An unhealthy lifestyle and diet can lead to diseases and long-term health issues, such as high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, etc. In addition, there are consequences of having a poor diet of eating unhealthy foods, such as fast foods, processed foods, red meats, highly saturated sugared, and fatty foods.
Because of the risks that that place, it is not good to neglect our bodies because they are the temple of God. “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.” (1 Corinthians 3:16-17)
6. Better Choices Leading To Better Healthy Habits
Create a routine and stick to it. Be consistent with the goals that you have for yourself, and continue to work hard. If you need consistency, create a schedule you know you can follow.
7. Financially Stabled
Having a good lifestyle calls for excellent money management. Being financially stabled can help you budget your money to save. The great thing about the Bible is that it teaches us, is to be wise with our finances. God has stated in his word all the resources, including money, are His. Therefore, we must be good stewards of the resources that He provides. “The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein.” (Psalms 24:1). Use a budget planner to organize your expense. This planner contains financial strategies such as setting goals, savings, debt, daily costs, monthly budgets, etc.
8. Self Control
Self-discipline is essential to personal development, spiritual growth, and service to others. You must practice self-discipline in the behaviors and feelings that you have. A disciplined life involves a unique and genuine commitment to obey God. Scriptures teach us about the fruit of the spirit. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” (Galatians 5:22-23)
9. Appearance
Appropriate inward and outward appearance is a reflection of Christ. We must embrace having a Christ-like spirit over material things such as flashy jewelry, excessive make-up, and designer clothing. As followers of Christ, whether men or women, we must dress appropriately and care more importantly for our inward appearances. “Don’t be concerned about the outward beauty of fancy hairstyles, expensive jewelry, or beautiful clothes. You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God. ” (1 Peter 3:3-4)
10. Dietary Laws
You may remember in the Old Testament when God wanted the Hebrews to eat clean foods and not uncleaned foods based on the Mosiac Law by Moses. Additionally, Prophet Daniel obeyed God by only eating healthy foods when he was at the king's table as to being offered wine and uncleaned foods. However, Daniel has requested only to eat vegetables and drink water for ten days. After eating healthy foods for ten days, God gave him knowledge, wisdom, and skill in literature, and then Daniel understood the visions and dreams he had from God. “Please test your servants for ten days, and let them give us vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then let our appearance be examined before you, and the appearance of the young men who eat the portion of the king’s delicacies; and as you see fit, so deal with your servants.” (Daniel 1:12-17)
As Christians today, we still need self-control over the unclean foods we put inside our bodies; we are wise to recognize that unclean foods are still considered unhealthy. Also, making healthier decisions, and portion sizes, in remembrance that The Most High dwells within us and our bodies are His temple.
11. True Happiness
Happiness comes from enjoying the things that the Lord has given you and not worrying about the things that have been taken away or withheld. True happiness comes from trusting the Lord with all your mind and soul, allowing God to take your burdens away, and doing things His way. You must believe that God will always make a way in every situation you might face. “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.” (Matthew 6:33)
