I know sometimes life can be challenging and frustrating. But as Christians, we must stand firm in what God has told us in his word. Most importantly, we must always put The Armor of God on when the enemy attacks. The enemy, Satan, doesn’t want us to be successful in our walk with Christ. Therefore he will do whatever he can to make us lack faith in God’s promises.
God always keeps his promises and provides us with reassurance and comfort that is written in the Bible by apostles and prophets; these two scriptures are from the old and new Testaments, which declare that “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”(Deuteronomy 31:8). Also, remember, “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.”(Romans 10:17).
You are going to learn how to strengthen your faith in God by reading his word, motivational tools that will help you in your walk with Christ, learning how to stand firm in faith, and more!
After learning all about how faith can inspire you, your faith in the Lord will become stronger, and it will motivate you to keep seeking God by reading his word and putting the armor of God on when the enemy attack.
A Prayer For Faith: Heavenly Father, I come before you at your feet. Lord, I thank you for all that you have done for me, and my family; God, you are so faithful. Father, I ask that you enable me to be strengthened in your promises to live by faith and not by sight. I bind every attack of the enemy against myself, my family, my finances, and my mind, and I loose the power of the Holy Spirit to deliver me from his attacks. Lord, you said in (Isaiah 41:10) “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” As I seek you, for I know you will guide me into righteousness, Lord, let your will be done in Jesus’ name, Amen.

2. Journaling
Journaling is another way of communicating with God. Take a moment to write down how you are feeling. Write down your thoughts; it doesn’t have to be perfect. But here are a few examples to get started. “God, I am feeling angry and hurt.” “God, I am lacking in faith, and I need guidance from you” “God, the enemy has been attacking my home, finance, job, relationships, family, mind, etc.” “God, I need your strength because I cannot make it on my own” “God, please deliver me from going through these hard times.”
Once you know what to write about, the Lord wants you to be authentic, honest, and vulnerable when writing to Him. God wants you to pour out everything to him and let ALL of your burdens go. “Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

7. Quiet Time With God
Spending quiet time with God can seem like sitting in your comfortable spot in the house, maybe by a window, sipping on your favorite drink while reading your Bible and journaling. The best way to journal/meditate on the word of God is by using the S.O.A.P Method to absorb what you just read and apply it in your daily life.
S.O.A.P Bible Study Method
(S)- Scripture: As you read, write out the verses that stuck out the most to you.
(O)- Observation: What truth did you learn? What was the message?
(A)- Application: How does this verse apply to your life today? How do you feel about the message that God is saying to you?
(P)- Prayer: Turn these thoughts into a prayer. Give God praises and thanksgiving. Tell him how grateful you are, and write down what you are feeling in your heart. Then ask God to show you what verses to meditate on and to apply them in your life. Lastly, end with, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Take a moment to find scriptures in the Bible about overcoming fear and obstacles you face in life, and learn about how God is able to deliver his people from their enemies. But remember that when life may seem challenging, you must seek God first and read the promises that he has proclaimed. “Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does.” (Psalms 145:13)
Motivate yourself by getting easy to read Bible that provides engaging scriptures; This exact bible has verse-by-verse study notes to explain each passage and provides meaning to scripture. It also includes book introductions of the outline, an overview of the context for each book, and more! If you are someone who constantly wants to feed your spirit by learning more about God, I highly recommend getting this Bible!
8. A Date With God
This isn’t your ordinary dinner and a movie type of date. This is a special one-on-one date with you and your Father. This requires undivided attention with no distractions, interruptions, agenda, technology, etc. Plan a day in your schedule to go somewhere nice and quiet, away from your everyday busy life, just for a few hours. Find a place where you can be alone to spend your time with God. Also, pack a light, healthy lunch with water if you need a snack.
Bible Study Essential List
- Journal notebook
- Highlighters
- Pens
- Bible
Places To Go
- Park (Early in the morning)
- Car
- Balcony/Patio
- Favorite Chair in the house
- In Your Office With The Door Shut
- Prayer Closet
As you are on your date with God. First, pray to the Father, praise and thanksgiving him; secondly, mediate the words of God (read The Book of Ephesians about the spiritual resources). Then sit in silence to hear God’s voice. Lastly, in your journal, write down questions you may have, the issues you face in your everyday life, your needs, and whatever you have in your heart.
9. Prayer Closet
A prayer closet or war room can be anywhere when you meet God; It is simply a space where you can spend quality time focused on prayer. “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” (Matthew 6:6).
In your prayer closet, you can write down scriptures of God promises and his comforting words. His words are true, and he is always listening, write down a prayer list of things you want to pray over. Your prayer list can be about healing within yourself, family, friends, and relationships, deliverance from financial burdens, depression, anxiety, fear, sickness, backsliding in faith, sinful desires, etc. Please remember this list is personal; you can also find scriptures about these things, and that’s why the Bible is the most powerful resource we have to refer to when we face challenges in this world; God created a solution for us to rest assured. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Philippians 4:6)
10. Surround Yourself With Like-Minded People Of Christ
